Train's anniversary run has come and gone at the PNC Bank Arts Center, and the next one is already on the books. Matchbox Twenty will mark 30 years of their debut album with a show at the Holmdel amphitheater on July 8, 2027, with David Gray as the special guest.

It's the first 2027 concert announced for the venue, as 94.3 The Point pointed out when the date went public. The show is part of a 52-date North American tour celebrating "Yourself or Someone Like You," the 1996 album that made Rob Thomas and the band one of the biggest rock acts of the late '90s. Billboard published the full list of dates. Other nights feature The All-American Rejects and The Wallflowers.

For Jersey fans the pairing is a good one. David Gray's "White Ladder" songs, "Babylon" and "This Year's Love," sit comfortably next to "3AM," "Push" and "Unwell." Both acts lean on the sing-along hits that sounded best in a summer amphitheater in the first place.

The PNC Bank Arts Center sits right off the Garden State Parkway in Holmdel and holds about 17,500 people between its covered seats and the lawn. Parking opens well before the show, and tailgating in the lots is part of the tradition. The Parkway backs up on big concert nights, so give yourself extra time.

Seating charts and prices for the July 8 show are on our Matchbox Twenty at the PNC Bank Arts Center page.
